Description

Cuisinart coffee expertise makes this Classic 12-Cup Percolator a must-have for any coffee lover. With a classic percolator style, this unit is made from stainless steel with a stay-cool bottom and detachable cord. Hot water percolates through the coffee grounds in the storage basket inside, creating the familiar bubbling noise coffee drinkers know so well.     I am disappointed in the inconsistencies of daily brews. The coffee is not the hot one would expect. It seems to need more brew time, not more grounds, for strong coffee. I have had mine almost one year, use it daily and wish I had purchased another brand. I was lured by the see thru lid bubble which turned out to be plastic and discolors quickly and the brand name of Cuisinart. I would discourage anyone from purchasing.

        The reason i bought this coffee pot was it was the only one on the market with warrenty for 3 years. We replaced this pot 4 times. The coffee was not hot enough and the bottom fell out. The plastic cracked. We did not have any trouble replacing 3 of them. The last one broke one week before the warrenty was up. They did replace it with another but they did not want to. i had to send my sales receipt in to prove it still was in warrenty. All other coffeepots are for 1 year.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
