Description

The KM7000 Grinder-Brewer is the machine of choice for fresh coffee lovers. This machine has five levels of grind and three settings for strength. The built-in grinder can be programmed to grind the correct amount of beans for the desired strength and number of cups of coffee. Whether making two or 10 cups, this machine makes the perfect cup. The black and silver finish will blend with most any kitchen decor as well as other appliances.

  • Conical burr grinder with automatic functionality grinds coffee to match number of cups and strength chosen
  • 5 levels of grind and 3 settings of coffee strength
  • 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cup digital settings that control the coffee-to-water ratio

    Love this machine! Try it...you'll LOVE it! Easy to use, not difficult to set up. The brewing options truly are reflective of the coffee it makes. My son and husband prefer very, very strong coffee and this machine puts out flavorful, not bitter, strong coffee. It brews a smooth, milder cup for me when I use the "Aroma" feature to brew just 2 cups at a time. The water is sprayed over the fresh grounds in a slow fashion to increase flavor. I use less cream in this coffee...I want to taste the great flavor. There's a water filter included that removes chlorine and minerals from tap water. The coffee tastes as good as my old French Press...and it's ready to drink when I get up in the morning. YIPPEE!!!

    Like many others, I thought this brewed some of the best coffee I've had. Then the coffee maker came toward the end of its warranty... I took in for repair as instructed by Krups, and got it back in worse condition than before. I contacted the repair center, and the best they could offer is there is not much they can do about this product. I called Krups to ask what I could do about this, and they said to just keep taking it back to the same place. If you don't mind blowing a couple hundred dollars for a year of good coffee, this is the way to go; if you're like most and expect a little reliability and customer service for this kind of money, look elsewhere.

    I have bought 2 of these machines; with the 1st machine for the 1st 6mos it was the best self grind coffee maker I ever purchased- excellent flavor, stayed hot and could control strength from 2 to 10 cups. After 6mos it broke (it would no longer start brewing) and attempted to get it repaired (which only lasted a few months), I decided to purchase a 2nd new machine, I was told by the repair service it was a faulty circuit as the cause. I believed Krups must surely have fixed the problem since others had the same complaint. Well guess what, exactly around 6mos later the 2nd machine stopped brewing just like the 1st. Shame on you Krups for having a great product but not fixing a faulty circuit design. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.....

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          Purchased this unit on Feb 2, 2011. Went to brew coffee on May 14, 2011 and no go. It would grind the coffee, but then unit powers off and won't brew. This is my second Krups KM7000. First unit lasted less than 2 years, this one 3.5 months.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          I love the multiple choices so that I can tweak the grinding time, amount of cups etc., to get coffee as strong or as weak as I want to drink. It took a moment to figure out how to set the grinder, and you must be sure the carafe is seated on the plate correctly. This is one classy coffeemaker. Love it.

              Bought to replace my failing "bargain" coffee pot.
              Decided to go with a grinder as well. Works with or without grinding, so for those that want a special bean, you have that option.
              My only "con" is that its too easy to brew smaller / fresher batches (and use more filters).
              For those who are experiencing the "grounds" spilling, the fix is to have the new filter installed / under the grinding spout before setting it to run. (Took me a few tries to figure that one out)

              Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
