      We make coffee every day, so ease of cleaning is big. Very easy to clean filter/filter holder. Makes great coffee, easy to load, fast, looks great, large pot.
      Only complaints:
      1) No end of Brew audio signal, so you have to guess listen to tell when it has stopped making its brewing noise.
      2) Flimsy power on/off buttons. Almost seems like display/buttons are loose and not mounted adequately, but they work ok.

      Confusing Documentation: One of the features that I like about newer, more expensive coffee makers like the Expressione is the feature to remove the pot and pour a cup before the brew cycle has completed. This coffee maker has a valve that closes if you remove the pot and allows you to get a cup while it is brewing. You can also turn the brewing off and get a cup half way through and then turn it on again to continue the brew cycle, but the instructions say "Don't remove the pot until the cycle is complete". Strange since this feature works great... I just pulled out the pot while it was brewing, poured a cup, and then put it back and it did not spill a drop, and it continued brewing. I guess they don't want to let you know about this feature?
      OVERALL a very nice coffee maker.

        Love this pot; again the best we have ever purchased. Keeps coffee hot, and makes very quickly. We drink a lot of coffee as do our friencs; we drink up to 4 sometimes 5 pots of 10 or 12 cups per/day. Have recommended it to a lot of people.
